Hi, and welcome to my world! I create art completely inspired by the presence of each horse & rider. No matter who you are, I will romanticize your mere existence. And, I’ll do it with passion and (somewhat) obsessive perfectionism.

Think of me as your director. After learning about your connection, I guide you to interact with your horse in authentic and meaningful ways. Your gallery is a collection of refined moments that accentuate your bond, and I love to manage every detail!

my philosophy

I've never owned a horse, but I've been dreaming of it. As such, I've had a lot of time (10 years) to romanticize the intimate connection between horse and rider.

I have always been drawn to expressing my emotions and telling stories. Photography made those stories real, giving me the challenge of translating someone's authenticity into a two-dimensional keepsake. I loved that there was so much meaning to capture among horses and riders, and my admiration for their bond intuitively guided my work.

Inspired by many creative art forms, I see your relationship as belonging in a feature film, a book of poetry, or a framed portrait. I am passionate about using my craftsmanship to align every detail, not just snap a picture.

together, you have presence

But your photos have to hold it.

my photography philosophy

You want to connect with your photos as much as you do with your horse. But this resonance doesn't come from nowhere— it's intentionally crafted.

The first thing I notice about a photo is its emotional impact. In the same way I fuss over my words to convey the right message, I thoughtfully create imagery to feel as profound as what's inside it. That depth of feeling is present in every horse and rider, and I want it to be seen.

So, yes, I care about how a photograph looks, because it changes what you feel.

Before
After

I feel that too many meaningful partnerships are sitting in empty photographs. Instead, I want images to stir something inside you every time. Those feelings of presence and grandeur are made by paying attention to the details. One thoughtful change, and the feeling is elevated.

For me, photography is a process of craftsmanship that breathes life into a two-dimensional image. Initially, purposeful framing gives the subjects space to be seen without distraction. The photograph is further enhanced with editing, which reintroduces the sensations that were truly experienced: the emotion, the color, the warmth.

These portraits feel lived-in because they do more than capture a moment— they convey its importance. They ask you to pause and experience the personal world shared by horse and rider. Your world is already deeply felt, but it's my job to preserve that depth in images you'll see and relive.
