Where are you located, and do you travel?
I am mainly based in Worcester, Massachusetts. During the school year, I am in Durham, New Hampshire. Central MA and Southern NH are the most convenient locations for me to travel. Otherwise, I am available all over New England with sufficient interest.*
*Locations farther than 60 miles round-trip are subject to travel fees and/or require 2+ interested parties.
How do i reserve my spot?
A 25% retainer fee and a signed contract are required to reserve your session day/time. This contract outlines your rights and responsibilities as well as mine. Any parties under 18 years of age will need an adult to sign the contract with them.
what is your timeline for delivering photos?
You receive 1-5 "sneak peeks" from me within 48 hours of your session, which you are welcome to save right away. Within 3 days after your session, I will send you an unedited gallery to select your favorites. Those photos will be hand-edited by me and sent to you within 2-3 weeks* after your selection. I make sure to keep you updated on my progress!
*For extra photos in larger packages, delivery may take longer. Details are discussed with you.
WHat rights do i have to the photos?
All of my services include the rights for personal use and printing. You may use your photos for social media, home decor, wallpapers, etc. Please inquire with me to purchase commercial rights (use in advertising or businesses).
how long are your sessions?
I do not set specific time limits on my sessions! This depends on the client's desires and the horse's needs. For example, we may need to spend more time with a young horse or at a large property. However, in general, you can expect a session to last about an hour. The duration of your session is confirmed beforehand. My sessions take place just before sunset, so a timely arrival is a must.
can you help with choosing outfits?
Yes! After you inquire, I will send you my session preparation guide, which gives you advice on what to wear. However, choosing an outfit is not as restrictive as you think! I am confident you have options already in your closet. (Please note, I do not currently provide clothing options of my own.)
What happens if my horse misbehaves?
These moments are never a major deal and are always handled. Never fear that your horse's big feelings will ruin the photoshoot! I am attentive to your horse's comfort level and encourage breaks as needed. There are always photos to be taken while grazing, walking, or in locations that calm your horse.
